Hey everyone,
Price employees always pride themselves on providing an excellent customer experience and building trust and relationships with our customers. Some of our customers have even summed up our dedication and service as “The Price Experience.” This month, the Atlanta manufacturing facility was able to hit a new level of service achievement by delivering orders 100% on time for six months consecutively! Congratulations to the team for all of their hard work. Check out this video for more about how we did it:

Hello everyone,
Recently, a group of young professionals called the Young Associates visited Price to tour our world class lab, as well as hear presentations about Price’s successful journey since it began in 1946. We always enjoy the opportunity to welcome groups, especially those who are just beginning their careers, and share our experiences. Take a look at the video below for some moments that we captured behind the scenes.

Hello everyone,
We had a very special visitor at the Price office last week. After an article about Price's successes appeared in the newspaper, we received a letter from a gentleman named Ted who had designed Price's first logo back in the 1940's. Gerry Price was very moved by the letter and personally called Ted to arrange for him and his wife to come in to Price for a tour. Gerry picked them up, and they had a fun afternoon reflecting on how far things have come in 60 years! Check out our behind the scenes footage from Ted's visit to Price below. Thanks to Ted and Moira for sharing their afternoon (and their memories) with us.

Hello everyone,
If you follow us on twitter you likely saw that last night Price was honored with an award for our Health & Wellness program, "Well from Within." Our Wellness Coordinator Robyn accepted the award last night at the Human Resources Management Association of Manitoba's Excellence in Leadership Awards. The award criteria was for the successful organization to demonstrate a positive approach in improving a company’s ability to attract and retain people through various initiatives, including: effective communication strategies, innovative benefit programs, providing a challenging or unique work environment, effective rewards and recognition, work/life balance, and displaying a high level of employee engagement and morale. We are very proud to help contribute to happy and healthy employees- check out the twitvid of our big 'winning moment' here!
A big thank you to HRMAM for this honor!

Hi Everyone,
Anyone in the HVAC industry has likely seen, heard or met our inspirational leader, Gerry Price. It was very fitting that Gerry was asked to present an award at the Future Leaders of Manitoba 2010 event last week considering the leadership he demonstrates within Price, within the industry, and in the community. In the video below, you will see that Gerry was asked to help select the recipient of the Community Service award. Take a look at the clips to hear how impressed Gerry was with the candidates, and how he thinks, to put it in his words, "we are in good hands for the future!"

Good afternoon everyone,
We've shown a lot of videos on here about Price Research Center North in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, but we are also excited to show you our facilities in Suwanee, Georgia! While visiting Atlanta, Carly was lucky enough to receive a tour from James in the Atlanta Lab. James may be soft-spoken, but he certainly knows pretty much everything about the art and science of air distribution! Architects, designers, owners, engineers and anyone with an interest in air distribution can interactively learn about Price products and services in this high-tech lab- so enjoy this video tour today, and then contact us to book a tour for the near future. Certainly Carly enjoyed her tour a lot, but check out the video below to see why she ended up behind bars...

Hi Everyone,
We took a trip down to Atlanta last week to visit the new Winder facility. This is the newest factory in the Price manufacturing family. Built in 2007, this plant was designed to support our new line of silencers and allow us to focus heavily on terminal unit production. Not only were there friendly, fun people there to greet us, but the equipment and the factory looked amazing. Check out Carly's interview with Steve, the plant manager to learn more about this new facility!

Happy New Year!
Hopefully your 2010 is off to a great start. Price's year has already been busy and filled with visits to Price Research Center North. Today's video blog shows an interview and some clips from the latest visit from Toronto's MCW Consultants Ltd. MCW is doing a lot of work with the government of Nunavut, Canada. MCW's website explains:
"The 39 government buildings in the capital of Canada’s newest territory consume $5.5 million of energy and water annually. MCW will be providing a savings-guaranteed and fully-financed energy performance program. The buildings include educational and health care facilities, office buildings, and residential buildings in the city of Iqaluit. This program is a key component of the Nunavut Energy Management Program and the Save 10 initiative."
It sounds like a very challenging and exciting project, so Price was very happy that MCW visited Price Research Center North to do some testing for an Iqaluit educational facility. Check out the video below!

Good morning, I hope you enjoyed our very first video blog on Friday. If you missed it, check it out here. Today’s post is another video blog, also filmed in Price Research Center North, but it’s about a completely different project. Last week a couple of researchers from Berkeley University in California traveled to Winnipeg to study displacement systems in the Radiant Test Chamber. Although Dr. Bauman explains it best in the video below, the main focus of the study was to better understand how displacement systems interact with radiant systems. Although the results are still in development (an official paper based on the results is being compiled as we speak), my sources in the lab tell me that Berkeley’s findings were quite extensive. We’ll keep you updated as we hear more. For now, check out how the lab team set up the Radiant Test Chamber, and see what the research was all about:
